According to the requirements of the bill:
1. All sales in California, and satisfies the requirement of TB117-2013 test of soft polyurethane foam furniture or upholstered furniture, need to add the following on the label "flame retardant stated," whether to show their products containing flame retardants:
"The product of the gasket material:
____ flame retardants containing added
____ without adding flame retardant
California has been updated fire retardant standards, and that the product does not add flame retardant can conform to the relevant fire safety requirements. This statement determines the many common or thought has a great influence to human health or the development of flame retardants. "
2. The manufacturer of the products shall be in the "flame retardant announcement" mark "X" the corresponding margin to indicate whether to add flame retardant products.
3. The "flame retardant statement" should satisfy "California law enforcement rules" provisions of section 1374.3 of chapter 4 of the label requirements.
4. Producers are to be proved whether their products file containing flame retardants. This type of file can be suppliers, to prove under TB117-2013 controls in each product component containing flame retardant paper certificate or test report.
5. If California electronics and electrical appliances, furniture, decoration and maintenance administration of adiabatic (BEARHFTI) request, the manufacturer must provide relevant documents in the administration within 30 days, to prove the correctness of the flame retardant stated its product labels.
